Two Day Tour " VOLCANOES , RAINFOREST & EXOTIC" SUPERTOUR !
1st Day Pick-up from the Hotel at 8.00 h. We are driving to the highland through traditional villages and wonderful rice-terraces. In Candi Kuning you will have the opportunity to admire the various spices, vegetables, fruits and orchids on the market. Afterwards we will visit the famous water-temple Pura Ulun Danu directly at the Bratan-lake. We will reach the north coast against 14.00 h. We will get by boat to the small island in the Menjangan Nationalparc, totally surrounded by corals and you will have the opportunity to do snorkelling. By ferry we will pass the "Bali-Strait" to the 2 km away island Java, enjoying the great view to the volcano Ijen (2800 m) upon sun-down.
2nd Day in the early hours we will travel by bus through coffee-plantations and rich rain-forest, you may even see some wild black monkeys. After arrival in the basis-camp on foot of the Ijen-volcano, we will make a 3 km long hiking-tour to the crate of the volcano (approx. 1-1,5 hours) were we will surely enjoy a great nature scene: Smoky clouds over a greenly water in the middle of a bizarre landscape of lava and volcanic stone, just like being in the middle of a witches-kitchen! The downhill of 35 km length from 2400 m height through rain-forest down to the coast of the Indian Ocean can either be done by bus or by bike. After the crossing of the water by ferry the bus will bring you safely along the south-coast back to your Hotel. Arrival approx. 18.00 h.
