Welcome to

CocosTravel

The idea to "Cocostravel" came to me when I was rolling on an extremely long downhill from a huge volcano on the Java island. At that time, when I was enjoying a holiday by bike on the Bali and Java islands already for the second time, it only remained a dream. The following year 2002 I took two longer stays in order to search and note down the perfect biking tours. I was supported by Heriyanto and his friends on Java, by Wayan of the "Bali Cycle Federation" and Aan, who was responsible for the organizational things, on Bali. The results were 6different tours, grades easy to mid-difficult, waiting to be discovered from you.

I am Werner Duderstadt, I've always been active in doing winter sports (Downhill, Freestyle and Snowboard), and I've discovered the bike sport 14 years ago and have also absolved some "Glocknerkönige", which is a big bike event every year in June, going up the Großglockner-Alpenpass in Austria by bike. As a former trader of Sport equipment and Bikes I am perfectly trained to repair bikes and I always keep my tools in the bus just in case….

We organise combined adventure tours for you

--- biking, trekking and snorkelling---

on the islands Bali, Java, Lombok, Sumbawa & Flores.

:Bali Java Bike Tour November 2011 Dear Werner, Mardy and Any, With a warm and happy feeling I think back to the beautiful Bike tour with you on Bali and Java. I have never cycle such beautiful tracks on the mountain bike, along the rain forest and pady fields and through many water places... I often wonder how Werner found this beautiful places where no tourist comes. With Werner it's sure that everything is perfectly organised and that you always feel optimistic. First about the weather although there are big clouds and rain, and second about your sport prestations, Werner makes you believe that you can climb every mountain..;) With Mardy you are sure that you have a good and quick driver and you have a good barbeque. And after a long track by bike or before a big climb by feet to the Volcano Any offers you a good meal near the camping place. Thanks for the nice time and big compliments for the Cococ travel Team. greetings from Irene from Holland, Hilversum

Bali / Java Hello Werner, and from all other Cocostravelteam. Thank you for the incredible journey halfway around the world. Only 14 days have passed to me from far away to feel at home. Who is comfortable, less exciting, and really like at home would have, should be in any travel agency with the "three letters" issued. But if you want to experience country and the people directly and would like to come in contact with local markets, because you simply sit at the same table and spontaneously verspührt the mutual joy of strangers who rides with Werner's troop. It is often thought of as where others rush past or simply get there before at all. This is partly because you are traveling by bike and just about everyone from children to grandpa a friendly "hello" calls out, so that you can barely catch his breath to respond to the greeting. On the other hand it is has the flexibility and spontaneous adaptation to the Cocostraveltruppe, when you unexpectedly on a truck in the pouring rain with loud laughing school children and other villagers in a muddy jungle road ascends. Times just a little adventure! But do not worry even if sometimes everything is wet and dirty is good for Indonesian standard hotel room, it also, it can really enjoy and when you come home, Kannste tell that you were at the beach and people with the "three letters" have seen on the forehead! Greeting Ecki

Subject: Java / Bali Dear Werner, rather Mardi, thanks for a great holiday and to surf with lots of fantastic impressions that we could get from this great country. A better way to get to know a country as "by bike" I can no longer vosrtellen because it's just close to everything. The hospitality and joy with which we were "biker" is received by the Balinese and the loud laughter of the children when they saw and will be remembered! All love from Frankfurt! Sandra

From Bali to Komodo and Flores eastward in June 2011 after this fantastic tour has caught us completely Germany - official and private. Therefore, the photos were viewed as a retrospective umpteen times, but by September it was not possible to reduce them to a reasonable level. We can say as a repeat offender: Similar to the Java Bali tour off any Touripfade, but very different, Werner fantastic dive with our small group into the diversity of the Indonesian archipelago. CYCLING - sometimes calm, sometimes crisp but short climbs with good MTB's; WALKING - with scenic views, idyllic bays and observation of strange animals, SWIM, SNORKEL, SCUBA DIVING - until the color saturation in the exotic underwater world, RELAX - in well-selected lodges or on the traditional wooden boat in daily changing environment. An active vacation that will be unsurpassed in terms of closeness to nature and friendly people, caring service from the entire team, as well as a varied program no. Like to again! A heartfelt thank you to Werner and the entire crew. Ah yes, the many great photos - who shows you what choices - none would forget.
